Audacious Campaign Plan Adopted: 10,000 Visionaries by June 2010! Call for Vision Organizers

The Let Us Rise Leadership Circle, which has been engaged in strategic planning for the past several weeks, has adopted an ambitious plan for the Visioning Campaign.

Our goal is to involve at least 10,000 Coloradoans in Visioning over the next 16 months.

The Visioning Campaign will culminate in a conference in June 2010, where 1,000 people will represent their Visioning Circles and create a shared Vision for Colorado. Click here for a visual map of the campaign and Volunteer Organizing Program.

To implement this plan, we are launching a large-scale volunteer organizing program. We need volunteers in the following areas:

• Visioning Circle Organizers: Starting with an in-depth training in facilitation, leadership and organizing, you will organize and facilitate Visioning Circles (or gatherings or parties, whatever you want to call them). We are offering a training on Saturday, April 25, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Denver . Contact kris@letusrise.org for more info, or see the news posting on this site.
• Outreach, Viral Marketing & Social Media Organizers: Starting with a free mini-training and orientation, you'll collect individual visions at events, door-knock, speak at meetings, flyer, and/or help plan and implement viral marketing and internet strategy. If you like spending time with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Myspace, etc., OR if you like talking one-on-one with folks, this is for you.
• Data Entry: We need people who can help us enter all the incredible visions we are receiving!
• Solidarity Circle Creators and Organizers This a new step we are developing. We will be creating a way for different visioning circles to come together, and find the common ground, as well as have deep conversations about how we are different, and arrive at an understanding of our shared humanity. We need volunteers who are interested in creating this process, and/or facilitating it once it has been created.
• Your ideas. If you have a skill outside of these boxes and want to offer it to Let Us Rise, we welcome you!
